Motorcycle Rider
First Aid Course
Accredited First Aid Training For
Adventure Motorcycle Riders
Be Prepared When Help Might Be Hours Away...
Adventure motorcycle riding presents unique challenges that extend far beyond those encountered in everyday environments. Riders often find themselves navigating remote gravel roads, mountain passes and wilderness areas where immediate access to emergency medical services may not be possible. In these situations, the ability to assess an injured rider, make sound decisions and provide effective first aid becomes an invaluable skill.
While the principles of first aid remain the same, this course has been specifically tailored to the environments, injuries, and emergency situations adventure motorcycle riders are most likely to encounter. Rather than relying on generic workplace examples, every topic is delivered within the context of real-world motorcycle riding, helping you understand how to apply essential first aid skills when they matter most.
Facilitated by the experienced team at Alive First Aid Academy, the course combines interactive classroom learning with practical, scenario-based training. Throughout the day, you'll take part in realistic motorcycle accident scenarios that reinforce the knowledge, techniques and decision-making skills needed to respond safely, confidently and effectively during an emergency.
Whether you're an experienced adventure rider, a weekend explorer, a group ride leader or preparing for your first overland journey, this course equips you with practical emergency response skills that can help you protect yourself, assist fellow riders and provide critical care until professional medical assistance arrives.

Where Will I Attend the Motorcycle Rider First Aid Training Course?
Our Motorcycle Rider First Aid Course is hosted at Motorrad Adventures Base Camp in Honeydew, Johannesburg, and facilitated by the experienced instructors from Alive First Aid Academy.
Located on the western side of Johannesburg, our Base Camp is a purpose-built adventure rider training venue, providing the ideal environment for both classroom learning and practical, hands-on first aid training.
