1. Promoters
This giveaway is run by: Motorrad Adventures (Promoter) in conjunction with Motoz Tyres South Africa (Partner).
 

2. Promotion Period
The promotion opens at 08:00 SAST on 15 October 2025 and closes at 23:59 SAST on 27 November 2025. The winner will be randomly drawn on 28 November 2025.

3. Eligibility
3.1. The giveaway is open to natural persons who are legal residents of the Republic of South Africa only.
3.2. Entrants must be aged 16 years or older at the time of entry. Proof of age and residency may be required.
3.3. Directors, members, partners, employees, agents or consultants of the Promoter, Partner or their immediate families, and anyone professionally connected with this giveaway, are not eligible.

4. How to Enter
4.1. To enter, participants must complete both of the following during the Promotion Period:
a) Complete and submit the entry form on the official Motorrad Adventures competition landing page (full name and a valid email address are required).
b) Like and follow Motoz Tyres South Africa’s official Facebook page.
4.2. Only entries that complete both steps will be valid. Incomplete or duplicate entries will be disqualified.
4.3. No purchase is necessary to enter or to win. Entry is free.
4.4. The Promoter is not responsible for entries lost, delayed, incomplete, corrupted or misdirected, whether due to system error, technical failure, force majeure or otherwise.

5. Prize
5.1. One (1) winner will receive one full set of Motoz Tractionator Adventure tyres (model and sizes subject to availability and confirmation).
5.2. Prize is valid for delivery only within the Republic of South Africa. The Promoter will not be liable for prize delivery outside South Africa.
5.3. The prize is non-transferable and not redeemable for cash. No substitution of the prize is permitted, except that the Promoter reserves the right to substitute the prize with an alternative of equal or greater monetary value, subject to applicable law.
5.4. Any additional costs (including but not limited to fitting, VAT where not included, accessories, or optional extras) are the responsibility of the winner, unless expressly stated otherwise.

6. Winner Selection & Notification
6.1. The winner will be selected by random draw from all valid entries on 28 November 2025. The draw will be conducted fairly and transparently. A record of the draw will be retained.
6.2. The winner will be notified by email within 7 days of the draw date. The winner must respond to the notification within 14 days to claim the prize. If the winner does not respond within 14 days, the Promoter reserves the right to forfeit the prize and select an alternative winner by random draw.
6.3. The Promoter reserves the right to require the winner to provide proof of identity, age and residency (e.g., copy of ID and proof of address) and, where applicable, proof of ownership or usage of a qualifying motorcycle, prior to prize fulfilment. Failure to provide satisfactory proof may result in disqualification.

7. Publicity
By accepting the prize, the winner consents to the Promoter and Partner using their name, image, city/town of residence and prize details for publicity purposes in any media worldwide, without additional compensation, unless prohibited by law. Where possible, the Promoter will request the winner’s consent prior to publication.

8. Data Protection & Privacy (POPIA)
8.1. By entering the giveaway, entrants consent to the Promoter and Partner collecting, storing and processing their personal information for the purpose of administering the competition, contacting the winner, delivering the prize and for future marketing communications where the entrant has given consent. This processing will be done in accordance with the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA). Entrants may withdraw consent to marketing communications at any time by following the unsubscribe instructions in marketing emails. 
8.2. Personal data collected for this giveaway will be retained only for as long as necessary to administer the promotion and comply with legal obligations, and will be deleted or anonymised afterwards in accordance with the Promoter’s privacy policy. 9. Facebook / Meta Disclaimer
This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Meta Platforms, Inc. Entrants release Meta from any liability. Participants are entering the promotion subject to these Terms & Conditions and not Facebook’s terms. Please note Meta’s promotion guidance when running page-based promotional activities. 
 

10. Compliance with South African Law
10.1. The Promoter intends to run this promotional competition in compliance with the Consumer Protection Act and relevant promotional competition regulations and guidance. Entrants consent to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. 

10.2. If any aspect of these Terms & Conditions conflicts with applicable law, that aspect will be amended to the minimum extent necessary while preserving the Promoter’s intentions.

11. Liability & Indemnity
11.1. Except to the extent prohibited by law, the Promoter and Partner exclude all liability for any loss, damage or injury suffered by any entrant as a result of entering the giveaway or accepting the prize, including direct, indirect, consequential or special damages.
11.2. The winner accepts the prize at their own risk and indemnifies the Promoter and Partner against any claims arising from their use of the prize.

 

12. Fraudulent Activity & Disqualification
12.1. The Promoter reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to disqualify any entrant who tampers with the entry process or who is in breach of these Terms & Conditions.
12.2. The Promoter reserves the right to void any entries suspected of being fraudulent, automated, or generated by script, macro, bot or other device.

 

13. Force Majeure & Cancellation
If the Promoter is unable to run the giveaway due to circumstances beyond its reasonable control (force majeure), the Promoter may, at its discretion, cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the contest and award the prize by alternative means.

14. Governing Law & Disputes
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any disputes arising in connection with this giveaway shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the South African courts.

15. General
15.1. The Promoter’s decision on all matters relating to this giveaway is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
