 West Coast/Namibia 12 DAYS: April 01-12, 2011

This route is done by GS BMW as there are dirt roads that the Harley's cant ride on. South Africa is a very beautiful country but only 10% is tarmac, therefore the most spectacular roads and scenery is off road. Motorrad will supply the accommodation, dinner and breakfast two guides and a support vehicle with trailer.
This tour is a combination of BACKPACKERS and CAMPING tour therefore the reduced price

This tour will do 16 mountain passes towards Ceres and to the Karroo and then we will also see the Southern most tip of Africa before we tour a very special road back to Cape Town. This tour is a very scenic motorcycle tour and very highly recommended.

Let’s get going! After breakfast we will depart at 08:00. First we will collect the rental motorbikes and then set out through Paarl and the pictorial Wellington over the Bainsksloof pass, the views from the pass down into the Wellington valley are spectacular.

Here we will lunch with Willie at the very famous bush pub. Willie will treat us to something special. After lunch we will drive to Ceres over the most spectacular passes on to Montagu and then on the R62 to Karoo saloon where we will spend the night.

10 Day Motorbike tour R62 and Garden route

This is our most popular tour and has such a lot off riding options, it can be done on Harley or BMW Gs as the route has a lot of off road alternatives. On this tour you will experience The best that South Africa has to offer in that it is probably the best ride that could be done in South Africa!!

This tour takes you on about 24 mountain passes as well as the Karroo and the Garden route, because we never take more than 8 motorbikes on tour we stay in very of the beaten track places and experience the local flavour.

Riders has space in the backup vehicle to put their baggage so that they don't have to carry anything on their bikes.

This route is done by Harley and GS1200 BMW as there are plenty of dirt roads that we use as alternatives to the tar. The first leg of the motorcycle tour in Kruger will be done on BMW Gs bikes and the second leg in the Cape will be done on Harley's. The Kruger park is a very beautiful but only 10% is tarmac, therefore the most spectacular roads and scenery. This motorcycle tour is very special as it gives you the best that this country has to offer in a 12 day experience that is truly a bucket list trip!!
